We've had many '80s ES-335's over the last few years and this '81 is right before Gibson reissued the ES-335 Dot mid way into 1981. This guitar has had the original Tar Back Gibson humbuckers removed years ago and they were replaced with a great set of '57 Classic's. This is a pretty common upgrade as many think the Tar Back era Gibson humbucker to sound very dark. There is a small spot of buckle rash on the back of the guitar but otherwise its in excellent condition. She ships in a newer Gibson hardcase.
