1967 Fender Telecaster Candy Apple Red

This 1967 Fender Telecaster in Candy Apple Red is a looker and an excellent player !

Original Candy Apple Red finish, pickups, frets. 

The bridge pickup cavity was deepened at some point in it's 59+ year history, probably to accommodate a different pickup, but the original pickup was wax potted and reinstalled. At this time, wiring was most likely update to modern/post '67. 

Notice the transition logo (not Black) Kluson tuners (instead of ‘F’ tuners), and threaded saddles. The CBS changes happened later in 1967 after this Guitar was born. These are all more desirable features.
