1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom Silverburst

This 1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Silverburst is an all-original example offered in excellent condition. It retains its original hardware and appointments, including the "Second" stamp on the back of the headstock as noted, and shows only minor wear — chiefly some discoloration on the back of the neck from contact with a guitar stand. The guitar was purchased from the original owner and comes with its original hardshell case (OHSC).  Weighs 10lbs 5oz.

Specifications follow Gibson's Les Paul Custom layout for the period: solid mahogany body with carved maple top finished in Silverburst, set mahogany neck with a bound ebony fingerboard (typically 22 frets), multi-ply binding on body, neck and headstock, and gold-plated hardware as originally fitted. Electronics are the factory-installed Gibson humbuckers (neck and bridge) with individual volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle switch. Tuners are period-correct Gibson-style tuners and the bridge/tailpiece combination is the standard Tune-O-Matic with stopbar tailpiece. All original marking and components are present.
