This 2011 Gibson Les Paul Custom "Signed & Aged" Ace Frehley #3 is a collector-grade instrument, one of only 50 signed and aged examples produced. Serial number 3 places it among the lowest in the run; it has been collector-owned since new and remains uncirculated. The guitar is finished in the factory "Budokan" color with Gibson’s aged-relief and relic treatment applied under the Signed & Aged program, and it includes all case candy shown: original hard shell case (OHSC), Certificate of Authenticity, paperwork, and any included straps or tags.
Specs and notable details: this Les Paul Custom follows classic Custom appointments — mahogany body with maple top, mahogany set neck, ebony fingerboard with block inlays, and multi-ply binding on body and headstock. Electronics are one DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position and two DiMarzio PAFs for the middle and neck positions) only the bridge pickup is wired, just like the original. Hardware is gold-plated (aged), with Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, and Kluson-style Grover or vintage-style tuners depending on the run.
