Paul Reed Smith PRS Private Stock Watchtower Run McCarty 594 Blood Red Glow

We're very excited here at Watchtower Guitars to be receiving more of our exclusive  Private Stock Brazilian run with our custom mother of pearl Diamond inlays.  We selected all of the woods for this run with our great friend Jeff McErlain at the PRS PS Wood Vault.  The central idea behind this run was building 594 singlecuts, doublecuts and 594 Hollowbody II's that were not only beautiful but played and felt like an old friend as well as being tone monster's.

We also wanted an understated inlay that showed off the amazing Brazilian rosewood boards we picked but was timeless.  After a lot of debate and help from Paul Miles of the Private Stock team we selected these Diamond inlays that remind me of the North Star twinkling in the night.  All of the necks are Dark Peruvian flamed Mahogany, Pattern Vintage neck carve, Brazilian rosewood fingerboards, and finished in a beautiful Satin Nitro for that played in feel.  On the Singlecut's and doublecut's we bound the top, neck, and headstock in grained Ivoroid.  These are finished in high gloss nitro.  The curly maple pickup rings house the nickel McCarty III pickups.  Another important point for us was the weight of the guitars.  We were looking to be under eight pounds with the SC's & DC's and around six pounds with the HB's.  These are right in the range and perfectly balanced.  The finished guitars have been stunning not only to look at but playability and tone.  

Distinctive features of this guitar include a headstock veneer of Brazilian rosewood, also bound with curly maple for a cohesive design. The neck carve follows PRS's Pattern Vintage specification, ensuring a fast and comfortable playing feel. Finished in a high gloss nitro Blood Red Glow, this guitar not only sounds impressive but looks stunning under stage lights. The McCarty 594 is equipped with McCarty III pickups, known for their clear vintage tones, and features two push-pull pots to expand tonal possibilities. With aluminum hardware and the our custom Watchtower mother of pearl diamond inlays on the fingerboard, this instrument is as much a work of art as it is a musical tool. The guitar is accompanied by a private stock brown paisley case.
