Tone King Sky King Black Tolex - Original Mark Bartel Built

The Tone King Sky King 1x12 35W combo delivers classic American blackface and tweed-era voicing with modern flexibility. Its two footswitchable channels (rhythm and lead) reproduce glassy clean chime and warm bark, while onboard pentode and ultralinear modes let you choose tighter, more immediate response or a looser, sagging feel for vintage-style compression. The amp also features a tube-driven spring reverb and a bias‑modulated tremolo that produces authentic pulsing tones without digital artifacts.

This was hand built by Mark when he owned the company as it went back to him recently for some repair work on one of the attenuators and he confirmed this.  The handle shows some wear but is still functional.  

Designed for practical onstage and studio use, the Sky King includes dual Ironman  reactive power attenuators — one per channel — so you can achieve tube saturation at lower volumes while retaining response and tone. Controls are intuitive and performance-oriented, making it easy to dial classic tones with modern reliability and control.
