The PRS S2 Special Semi-Hollow Reclaimed Limited Edition is a 700-piece run that pairs the familiar versatility of the S2 Special Semi-Hollow with reclaimed and salvaged tonewoods left as natural as possible. Each instrument features a Peroba Rosa top, Cuban mahogany neck and Guaribu Preto fretboard; the 100–150 year old Peroba Rosa top adds density and focus that, together with the semi-hollow body, yields a sound that is both punchy and warm. Cosmetic history — nail holes, discoloration or wear — is intentionally preserved and the guitar is finished in satin nitro in a natural color to highlight the wood’s provenance.  Weighs 7lbs 6.8oz.

Mechanically and electronically the model follows the S2 Special Semi-Hollow template: a 25" scale length, 22 frets and a Pattern Regular neck profile; a hum / Narrowfield / hum pickup configuration controlled by a 5-way blade switch plus two mini-toggles that let you tap the humbuckers for a total of twelve pickup combinations. The result is a highly flexible instrument capable of bright, single-coil‑like clarity as well as full, vintage humbucker tones, offered as a strictly limited 700-piece edition for 2025.
